Dr. Phoebe Giltner

Veterinarian
Dr. Phoebe Giltner, B.Sc, DVM, originally grew up in Kelowna, BC, where she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician throughout the Okanagan. In 2012, she moved to Calgary, where she completed the Advanced Care Paramedic course at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and worked in both private clinics and on the ambulance. She then completed a Bachelor of Science degree through Athabasca University before being accepted into the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Calgary in 2019. Her love of animals, coupled with her passion for emergency medicine, has led her to her role as a small animal veterinarian at Fish Creek Pet Hospital.

Outside of work, she loves to spend time outdoors and enjoys camping with her family and her two dogs Andy and Mabel. She also loves spending time with her spicy cat Lucille and her extra spicy hamster Alexander.
