Dr. Elizabeth Sargeant
Dr. Elizabeth Sargeant, B.Sc, DVM, MA grew up in Calgary. In 2011 she completed her BSc in Biology at the University of Victoria before returning home to the University of Calgary to complete her MA in primatology studying infant behaviour in white-faced capuchin monkeys. Afterwards, she spent a year working at the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society and in various small animal clinics before pursuing her passion for becoming a veterinarian. She completed her DVM at the University of Calgary in 2019, where she developed a love for emergency medicine. After graduating, Elizabeth joined the fantastic team at Fish Creek Pet Hospital.
Outside the clinic, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She has always had a love for small critters and currently has two African Soft Furred mice named Turnip and Pumpkin. In her spare time, she loves to explore various parks in and around the city where she and her husband go birdwatching.
